Melissa Marie Shea, born Sept. 24, 1963, died July 6, 2016. She was born in San Francisco, California, and moved to San Mateo, California.
Graduated from Aragon High School (San Mateo) and attended California State University (Chico) where she attained a bachelor’s of science degree in business administration in 1994. Later that year, she started a successful company named “Customized Accounting Services” where she continued to work until her last day.
Survived by mother Emma Shea of Tucson, Arizona, and sister Suzanne Shea. Melissa will also be missed by many cousins and close friends.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at Sneider & Sullivan & O’Connell’s Funeral Home, 977 S. El Camino Real, San Mateo, CA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Melissa’s memory to the following charities: Muttville Senior Dog Rescue, 255 Alabama St., San Francisco, CA 94103 or Light The Way Lutheran Church, 8611 N. Silverbell Road, Tucson, AZ 85743.
