Jerry Kunz, a gentleman, a generous man, and a man of his word, passed peacefully at his San Mateo home September 26, 2024. He was 89. Jerry was a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, Godfather, uncle, brother, brother-in-law, and friend. Devoted to his wife, family, church, community and country, he was devout in the way he lived. His life had a rhythm, a cadence, that flowed from his heart and his faith in God.

A respected and beloved San Mateo entrepreneur and real estate investor, he is survived by his three children, Linda (Kunz) Carney, Marsha Kunz, Cheryl (Kunz) Quinn, son-in-law Christopher Quinn, six grandchildren Kyle Quinn (Stefani), Hannah Carney Lopez (Baru), Allison Quinn McDermott (Kevin), Natalie Carney Bunitsky (Nick), Jeff Carney, and Riley Quinn, four great-grandchildren Emmet, Charlotte, and Eleanor Quinn and Max Lopez.
