It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of both George Harrison and his wife, Hiroko Harrison. George passed away on August 18, 2024 at the age of 91 years, and Hiroko Harrison passed away on January 21, 2024 at the age of 88 years. George and Hiroko Harrison were longtime residents of the San Mateo and Foster City communities. George worked in the bakery industry and Hiroko was a hair stylist. George and Hiroko have a surviving son, Robert Harrison, of Honolulu, Hawaii.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Prostate Cancer Foundation in George and Hiroko’s name, 1250 Fourth Street, Santa Monica, California, 90401.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 26 at 11 a.m. at Sneider & Sullivan & O’Connell’s Funeral Home, 977 S El Camino Real, San Mateo, CA 94402. There will be a reception to follow at another location.
