WASHINGTON (AP) — Officials in the Trump White House tried to pressure U.S. health experts into reauthorizing a discredited COVID-19 treatment, according to a congressional investigation that provides new evidence of that administration's efforts to override Food and Drug Administration decisions early in the pandemic.

The report Wednesday by the Democratic-led House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis also sheds new light on the role that television personalities played in bringing hydroxychloroquine to the attention of top White House officials. Investigators highlighted an email from Fox News' Laura Ingraham and others from Dr. Mehmet Oz, the celebrity heart surgeon who had a daytime TV show and is now the Republican Senate nominee in Pennsylvania. Ingraham attended an Oval Office meeting with President Donald Trump, who himself took the anti-malaria drug.

Hilarious, why would I believe the AP when they’ve been, and continue to be, slaves to Dem talking points? We all know how well Anthony “wear a mask, wear two masks, wear no mask” Fauci and Deborah “my goal was to fool as many Americans as possible into locking down, the maximum allowable social gathering size was made up, two weeks to slow the spread was another lie” Birx handled COVID. Why are we not surprised the CDCs guidance now admits “COVID vaccines” do not prevent anyone from getting or spreading COVID and the CDC admits that there is no logical reason to treat jabbed folks differently than unjabbed folks since they both can be infected and spread the COVID virus (as shown by real world results)? There are hundreds of studies showing the positive effects of HCQ and Ivermectin. I feel sorry for the folks who were allowed to die without the access to these generic drugs.
