An 18-year-old woman pleaded innocent today to charges that she shot and killed her fiancee in the garage of a Daly City home three weeks ago.
Helena Hearne, 18, entered the not guilty plea in San Mateo County Superior Court this afternoon in response to charges that she shot 20-year-old Dante Hebron in the back on Feb. 23 while he was standing in the garage of a home at 867 Hanover St., where he was staying.
Hebron died on his way to surgery at San Francisco General Hospital, and Hearne was arrested shortly afterward at a home in the Excelsior District in San Francisco.<
