Arguello development

A rendering of the development proposed in Redwood City.

A couple of Redwood City housing proposals collectively totaling more than 100 units — with almost half of those being below market rate — were submitted to the city in recent weeks.

Developer Greystar on April 5 submitted plans for a six-story development consisting of 38 below-market-rate units at 1304 El Camino Real, which is home to a now-closed auto body shop. The project is an offsite component of Greystar’s South Main Mixed-Use proposal at 1601 El Camino Real and it’s being proposed to help satisfy that development’s affordable housing requirements.

How do we make it stop?? I have lived here for 10 years and I'm so sad about what RWC has become. It takes over 1/2 hour to get from one side of the City to the other. Where are all of these cars going on the streets? How do we make it just stop?

It's days after this story and no mention of the 1304 ECR project on Redwood City's Planning Department website. Residents feel underserved because they are underserved.
