South San Francisco officers arrested a suspect in an alleged shooting that occurred at a church in the city Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
Police said that at approximately 1:25 p.m. Tuesday, officers were alerted to a shooting at a church on the 3700 block of Callan Boulevard.
Upon arrival, officers learned no one was hurt by the shooting and a male suspect was seen fleeing the area.
Detectives subsequently identified the suspect as Debari Charvel Augustine, 22, who was arrested in San Francisco where he resides. He was booked into San Mateo County Jail on suspicion of shooting into a dwelling, possession of an assault weapon, and attempted murder.
