The Serra High School track coach charged with molesting one young boy had 15 extra felonies added yesterday after two more victims came forward.
Italo Arbulu, 40, now faces 20 charges of lewd acts on a child under the age of 14 and one count of sodomy in addition to the original six charges on which he was arrested. Arbulu pleaded not guilty to all charges yesterday and returns to court June 1 for a preliminary hearing on the evidence.
Prosecutors have not ruled out the possibility that more charges could still be filed against Arbulu. The 21 felonies filed so far could send him to prison for more than 40 years and mandate that he register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
Authorities are still keeping tight-lipped about the case but Chief Deputy District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said the initial victim, a boy who is currently 13, met Arbulu through a non-school track club. The alleged molestations occurred between April 1 and April 27.
The recent pair of victims allege molestations between 1998 and 2000, according to the document listing the charges. The first victim has 11 counts and the second victim has four counts, including one of sodomy.

The first victim does not attend Serra High School and none of the victims are related to Arbulu, Wagstaffe said.
Arbulu was arrested Friday, May 7 at his South San Francisco home.
Arbulu worked as a part-time assistant cross country coach at Serra, a Catholic boy's prep school in San Mateo. He was hired in October 2000. He also coached for the Burlingame Soccer Club in the Redwood League of CYSA Soccer.
He remains in custody at San Mateo County Jail in lieu of $600,000 bail - $100,000 for each count he was originally charged with.
