A 46-year-old man who allegedly tried to lure a 14-year-old girl on the 1200 block of Clinton Street in Redwood City Monday afternoon was arrested, according to police.
At about 1:45 p.m. April 29, the man, identified as Neil Porras Prado, of Newark, allegedly approached the girl walking home from school and asked how old she was and for her cellphone number while asking “can I hit on you?” and for her to come closer to his car, according to police.
He drove away when she didn’t come closer and she went home and called police, according to police.
