A 48-year-old La Honda man was arrested for felony vandalism for allegedly ramming his motor home through a neighbor’s locked gate over an ongoing property rights dispute, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
Geoffrey Goldsberry was arrested Tuesday and faces a second charge for allegedly destroying vehicle identification numbers, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Police served Goldsberry with a search warrant prior to his arrest at his home on the 400 block of Judson Drive in La Honda.
Goldsberry allegedly intended to ram the 24-foot long motor home into his neighbor’s residence, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The dispute has resulted in a protection order and civil harassment order filed against Goldsberry in Superior Court, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
He was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility.
