• The San Mateo-Foster City Elementary School District Board of Trustees approved an exclusive use agreement with the Foster City Preschool and Daycare Center, laying the groundwork for the displaced facility’s opening on the Parkside Elementary School campus in San Mateo.
In other business at the Thursday, Feb. 22, meeting, trustees agreed to hire Godbe Research to conduct polling gauging community support for a potential parcel tax measure.
• The San Bruno Park Elementary School District Board of Trustees approved hiring Valerie Rogers as the school system’s new assistant superintendent of educational services. Prior to joining the district, Rogers worked for the Fontana Unified School District in San Bernadino County. Her appointment is effective March 19.
