Aragon 6, San Mateo 1
The Dons (10-1 PAL Bay, 14-6 overall) took care of business to clinch no less than a shared PAL Bay Division championship in a home win over San Mateo (0-11, 6-11). Aragon No. 1 doubles Max Gan and Adam Beg went the distance for a 7-5, 3-6, 10-7 super tiebreak win over Joshua Lee and Alexander Barnett, while No. 2 doubles Joshua Lee and Alexander Barnett, and No. 3 doubles Linus Feng and Ryan Newman swept to victories for the Dons. San Mateo No. 1 single Dylan Chua averted the shutout with a 6-1, 6-1 win.
Aragon wraps up the regular season next Tuesday hosting Carlmont with a chance to three-peat as outright PAL Bay champions.
Burlingame 6, Menlo-Atherton 1
The Panthers (9-2 PAL Bay, 12-4 overall) went 2-1 in super tiebreak matches to maintain their second-place standing in the PAL Bay Division. Burlingame No. 1 single Kaden Lam held off Noah Chiang for a 6-3, 3-6, 10-7 victory, while No. 3 doubles Darren Wagner and Gregory Kozakov won 6-3, 6-7, 10-7 over Connor Bae and Raphael Pierres. M-A No. 2 single Cole Aylaian earned a 6-3, 3-6, 10-7 win over Noah Chiang.
El Camino 4, Oceana 3
El Camino No. 1 single Alex Dizon delivered the victory in thrilling fashion with a 6-4, 3-6, 10-8 super tiebreak victory over Aiden Ng to clinch the win. The Colts (3-7 PAL Ocean) earned wins from their top three singles, with No. 2 Jairus Orias and No. 2 James Liberato sweeping, along with No. 1 doubles Lance Bordner and Blake Bordon sweeping 6-3, 6-2. Oceana (3-6) earned a tiebreak win at No. 2 doubles Justin Tong and Daniel Leon defeating Diego Chavez and Mateo De Mesa 6-4, 7-6(4).
Sequoia 7, Capuchino 0
Sequoia No. 3 single Jasper Ledford held on for a 6-3, 0-6, 10-8 win over Jacob Poon to secure the sweep for the Ravens (7-2 PAL Ocean) at home over Capuchino (0-10). No. 1 single Grant Ko added a 6-0, 6-2 victory, while No. 1 doubles James Knockey and Alex Babb rolled 6-0, 6-0.
PAL Ocean standings: Hillsdale 10-0, Sequoia 7-2, Half Moon Bay 6-4, Oceana 3-6, El Camino 3-7, Capuchino 0-10.
Boys’ badminton
Carlmont 19, Burlingame 11
No. 1 boys’ single Ian Shi No. 1 boys’ doubles Bryan Hu and Morgan Li each swept to victory to keep the Scots (10-0 PAL Bay) unbeaten in PAL Bay Division play with the win over Burlingame (7-3). No. 1 girls’ doubles Karena Ling and Belmira Long also cruised to victory for Carlmont. Burlingame No. 1 girls’ single Nicole Huang rallied back for a 21-23, 21-14, 21-19 win over Bianca Long.

Coupled with Burlingame’s loss to Carlmont, the Dons (8-2 PAL Bay) took outright control of second place in the PAL Bay Division with four matches remaining in the regular season. No. 1 mixed doubles Takeo Blakely and Allison Hsu earned a 19-21, 21-9, 21-19 comeback win over Seiji Phan/Shu Ming Teon to secure Aragon’s sweep through No. 1 play. With the loss, Westmoor (7-3) falls to third place, tied with Burlingame.

San Mateo (4-7 PAL Bay) claimed a 22-8 home win over Mills (0-11).
Menlo-Atherton (4-7 PAL Bay) won 17-13 at home over South City (2-9).
Terra Nova earned a 23-7 win over Woodside.

The Vikings (7-2 PAL Ocean, 16-7 overall) swept to a 25-21, 25-13, 25-21 home win over Sequoia (6-3, 10-8) in a battle for second place in the PAL Ocean Division. Mills attacker Jayden Jiang led the way with 13 kills and three service aces, while setter Ian Li drove the offense with 31 assists.
PAL Ocean standings: Woodside 8-0, Mills 7-2, Sequoia 6-3, El Camino 4-4, Westmoor 4-4, Capuchino 2-6, Jefferson 2-6, South San Francisco 0-8.
Boys’ lacrosse
Woodside 18, Aragon 1
Liam Carver racked up eight goals to lead the Wildcats (6-1 PAL Ocean, 10-1 overall) to the home win over Aragon. Jack Brooks added three goals for Woodside, while Omar Sheik scored twice.

Los Altos (4-2 PAL Ocean, 5-4 overall) earned a first-half shutout to win 6-3 over Sequoia (5-2, 9-4).
