Aragon 2, Hillsdale 1
Senior forward Sierra Troy totaled three points with one goal and one assist to lead the Lady Dons (3-1-2 PAL Bay, 8-2-2 overall) to victory in their rivalry game at Hillsdale (1-5, 7-8). Troy now ranks second on the team in scoring this season with seven goals overall. Sophomore forward Emi Lo, who assisted on Troy’s goal in the first half, leads the Dons with nine goals and 24 points. Senior forward Stela Pisaro scored a second-half goal that proved to be the game-winner for Aragon on a Troy assist. Hillsdale sophomore Nada Masri scored on a penalty kick in the second half.
With the win, Aragon (11 points) moves into outright control of second place in the PAL Bay Division, two points behind league leader M-A (13 points). The two teams meet this coming Tuesday at Aragon at 4:30 p.m.
The Dons got help Thursday from both Sequoia and Burlingame, two teams tied for fourth place in the Bay Division. Sequoia earned a 1-0 win over first-place M-A to keep Aragon within striking distance of first place. Burlingame earned a 1-1 draw with Woodside (10 points), knocking Woodside into third place in the Bay.
Woodside 1, Burlingame 1
The Panthers (1-2-3 PAL Bay, 4-7-5 overall) scored on a first-half goal from sophomore striker Natalie Chen to earn a draw at home with Woodside (2-0-4, 6-2-5). Junior midfielder Mika Haggerty recorded the assist on Chen’s goal. Woodside senior Mariam Yusuf scored her 10th goal of the year in the first half on an assist from junior Abby Clarke.
Carlmont 10, Half Moon Bay 0
The Lady Scots (6-0 PAL Ocean, 11-4-1 overall) racked up their biggest single-game scoring total since 2021-22, winning on their home pitch against Half Moon Bay (1-3-2, 3-9-3). With the win, first-place Carlmont (18 points) takes a commanding lead atop the PAL Ocean Division over second-place San Mateo (13 points).
Delaney Kumer, Nicole Franklin, Gianna Armanini and Anna Motamarry scored two goals apiece for the Scots. Kumer added two assists on the day. Lindsay Wong and Niyati Hazari added one goal and one assist apiece, while Anita Bock was also credited with a goal.

Terra Nova 4, Capuchino 0
The Tigers (4-2 PAL Ocean, 10-3-1 overall) got four goals from four different players to earn a home win over Capuchino (0-6, 0-12). Junior Ella Templin moved into a tie for the team lead with her sixth goal on the year, assisted by Madison Shurko. Sophomore Geneva Chan and senior Haylee Machi also have six goals apiece for Terra Nova. Senior team captain Shellsea Gutierrez got the Tigers on the board on a goal from Milana Rosales. Senior Aby Eastman-Anderson added a goal on an assist from freshman Claire Moore, and junior Zoe Brenner scored in the second half on an assist from freshman Aleah McArthur.
San Mateo 5, South City 1
San Mateo (4-1-1 PAL Ocean, 10-2-1 overall) earned its 10th overall win of the year with a blowout at home over South City (1-4-1, 5-8-2). Mia Bertolina led the way with two goals for the second-place Bearcats (13 points) who maintain a slight lead over third-place Terra Nova (12 points) in the PAL Ocean Division standings. The two teams meet this coming Tuesday at San Mateo at 4:30 p.m.
Mills 7, Jefferson 1
Senior forward Abigael Zennadi scored a four-goal haul to lead the Lady Vikings (4-0 PAL Lake, 8-4 overall) at home past Jefferson. With the win, Mills (12 points) remains deadlocked for first place in the PAL Lake Division with Oceana (12 points). The two PAL Lake frontrunners have a back-to-back scheduled beginning Friday at Mills. The two meet against this coming Tuesday at Oceana at 4:30 p.m.
Zennadi now has 15 goals on the year, including 12 in PAL Lake Division play. Maya Dolmage, Jocelyn Kwan and Sofia Madrigal each added scored for the Vikings.
Oceana 6, El Camino 1
Shalien Ekah scored each of the first four goals for the Sharks (4-0 PAL Lake, 4-2 overall) to record a haul at home against El Camino (1-4, 2-10-1). With the win, Oceana (12 points) remains deadlocked for first place in the PAL Lake Division with Mills (12 points). The two PAL Lake frontrunners have a back-to-back scheduled beginning Friday at Mills. The two meet against this coming Tuesday at Oceana at 4:30 p.m.
Saoirse Doyle added one goal and two assists for Oceana, Jordan Hsieh had an unassisted goal, and Beyonce Miranda recorded two assists.
