Burlingame 1, Sacred Heart Prep 0
The teams combined for just three hits, with the Panthers stealing the win in the bottom of the seventh for the win.
Burlingame (1-0), which was limited to two hits, used a double steal to snatch the victory. With Liam Philibosian at the plate and facing an 0-2 count, Mark O’Grady broke for the second, with Andrew Gall scampering home from third with the winning run on the back end of the play.
Rallin Covey was the hard-luck loser for SHP (1-3) as he tossed a complete game, allowing one run on just one hit while striking out 11. Nico Pollioni had both of the Gators’ hits.
O’Grady and Gall also combined on the mound for the win, as they held the Gators to just three hits. O’Grady worked the first five innings, with seven strikeouts, while Gall got the win pitching the final two.
South City 16, Design Tech 0
The Warriors opened with a six-run first and closed with a six-run fourth as they slapped a mercy-rule, non-league loss on the Dragons.
Emilio Oseguera and Diego Carranza each drove in four runs for South City (2-0), with Oseguera collecting two triples and a double, and Carranza finishing with a pair of two baggers.
Yordonis Medina-Pineda and Josh Ornelas added two RBIs each for the Warriors.
Oseguera also picked up the win on the mound, allowing one hit in four innings of work.
Aidan Tom had the only hit for Design Tech (0-2-1).
San Mateo 5, Menlo School 4
A four-run fourth carried the Bearcats to the non-league win over the Knights.
San Mateo (2-1) took a quick 1-0 lead in the top of the first, but Menlo (1-3) answered with three in the bottom of the inning before the Bearcats took control in the fourth.
Sean Bomes had a double and three RBIs to pace the offense for San Mateo to make a winner of Wilson Morales, who worked the first four innings, allowing three runs on six hits. Tyce Copus earned the save after Menlo scored a run in the bottom of the seventh to cut its deficit to 5-4.
San Ramon Valley 9, Serra 2
The Wolves handed the Padres their first loss of the season in San Mateo Tuesday, banging out 10 hits.
Scoreless after two innings, SRV (1-0) took command of the game with six runs in the top of the third. The Wolves rounded out the scoring with three in the sixth.
Serra (3-1) scored single runs in the fourth and fifth innings, with Nate Hui and Kurtis Lee each picking up an RBI.
Sequoia 7, Woodside 4
The Ravens topped the rival Wildcats in Redwood City to stay undefeated on the season.
Woodside (2-1) jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first, but Sequoia (4-0) tied it with two runs in the bottom of the second and took the lead for good with three runs in the third.
The Wildcats closed to 5-4 with two runs in the fourth, but the Ravens gave themselves some breathing room with single runs in the fifth and sixth innings.
Morgan Winfield homered and drove in two runs for Sequoia, while also picking up the win on the mound, giving up three runs on six hits in four innings. Nolan Fausto pitched the final three innings to pick up the save.
Dominic De La Cruz had a team-high three RBIs for Sequoia, as well.
Charlie Dalrymple led the offense for Woodside, driving in a pair of runs.
Terra Nova 4, University-SF 3
The Tigers scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth to escape with the win over the visiting Red Devils.
Tied 2-2 after the first inning, University (0-3) took a 3-2 lead with a run in the top of the sixth, but Terra Nova (2-1) responded with two runs in the bottom of the frame.
Aiden James hit a home run and drove in two runs for the Tigers to make a winner of Cooper Santamato, who pitched six innings, giving up two earned runs on three hits. Giovanni DeFilippis got the save with a perfect seventh.
Capuchino 11, Harker 0

A nine-run first inning was all the offense the Mustangs would need in the rout of the Eagles in a five-inning, mercy-rule win.
Dominica Fanara drove in three runs for Capuchino (3-0), while James Ayoob and Will Ferreira each added a pair of RBIs.
Aaron Rodriguez pitched a five-inning no-hitter, with seven strikeouts to go with six walks.
Harker falls to 1-1 on the season.

Burlingame 5, Hillsdale 1
The defending CCS and Nor Cal champ Knights are off to a slow start, with the Panthers handing them their third loss of the season.
Burlingame (1-0), playing its season opener, set the tone with a three-run top of the first, adding single runs in the fifth and seventh innings.
Panthers pitcher Brooke Arce went the distance, holding Hillsdale (1-3) to one run on four hits, holding the Knights scoreless until they scratched out a run in their last at-bat.
Sophie Lin and Olivia Evangelista each had an RBI for Burlingame, while Maddy Koo, Kiley Lyons and Evangelista all collected a pair of hits.
Half Moon Bay 7, Presentation 5
The Cougars rallied from a 4-0 deficit to beat the Panthers in a non-league game on the coast.
Presentation (2-1) scored once in the top of the first and added three more in the second.
HMB (2-1) responded with a run in the bottom of the second and two more in the third. The Cougars then scored two in the fifth and two more in the sixth the post the victory.
Tessa Deeney and Taelor Johnson both homered and drove in a pair of runs for HMB. Paisley Harris also had two RBIs for the Cougars.
Mariah Deeney got the win in the pitcher’s circle for the Cougars, throwing a complete game, giving up two earned runs while scattering seven hits.
Menlo-Atherton 11, Fremont-Sunnyvale 0
The Bears scored in every inning as they posted a mercy-rule win over the Firebirds.
After scoring single runs in the first and second innings, M-A (3-0) scored three in the third, four in the fourth and two in the fifth, scoring 11 runs on 11 hits.
Kylie Cox doubled and drove in three runs for the Bears with Gracy Nava throwing a five-inning perfect game.

Valley Christian (2-0) drilled Aragon (2-3), 13-5.
Sequoia (0-1) fell to Milpitas (3-0), 4-2.
Mitty (5-1) blanked Carlmont (0-1), 9-0.

Mills 4, Menlo-Atherton 3
The Vikings notched their first win over the Bears in at least 20 years, winning three of four singles matches as they picked up their first Bay Division win of the season.
Ethan Liu won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 1 singles; Aiden Hsiao won at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-2 and Neel Ranji won 6-1, 6-4 at No. 4 singles.
Mills (1-2 PAL Bay), which has won the last two Ocean Division titles, clinched the win at No. 1 doubles, where Victor Li and Maxim Varfolomeev outlasted M-A’s Liam Baker and Thomas Greenleaf in three sets — 1-6, 6-4, 10-5.
In other action...
Burlingame beat San Mateo, 4-3.
Carlmont topped Woodside, 5-2.
