The Bearcats’ twin towers of Kaitlyn Schuh and Violet MacAvoy combined for 29 points and 18 rebounds as they beat the Scots in a PAL Bay Division matchup.
Schuh posted a double-double for San Mateo (2-2 PAL Bay, 12-4 overall), finishing with a game-high 18 points and 12 boards. MacAvoy added 11 points and six rebounds as the Bearcats led from start to finish.
The Bearcats held Carlmont (1-3, 10-7) to single-digit scoring in three of the four quarters. London Green led the Scots with 11 points.
Hillsdale 43, Burlingame 23
The Knights snapped a snapped a three-game losing streak with the non-league win over the Panthers.

Daniella Sierra led the way with a game-high 16 points for Hillsdale (11-5 overall). Cadence Lane and Nicole Moita de Deus each added seven points for the Knights.
Burlingame (9-6) was led by Haleh Ansari, who finished with eight points.
Menlo School 44, Lowell 35
The Knights rebounded from a 50-45 WBAL loss to Notre Dame-Belmont Friday to beat the Cardinals at the MLK Shootout at City College of San Francisco.
Menlo (11-3 overall) led 17-16 at halftime and then outscored Lowell (11-7) 27-19 in the second half.

Oakland Tech (8-9) cruised past Terra Nova (7-5), 73-21, as part of the MLK Shootout in Pacifica.
Priory (10-5), which knocked off Pinewood 40-39 Friday nights, topped a strong Piedmont (10-3) squad, 48-46, as part of the MLK Classic at Bishop O’Dowd High School in Oakland.
