San Carlos stayed alive in the 10s tournament by virtue of a thrilling walk-off win over Redwood City at Ford Field. Dom Rhein and Matty Weisman set the table in the seventh with back-to-back one-out singles, Austin Anderson loaded the bases with a two-out infield single, and Hunter Hoffman sent everyone home with an RBI single into left field.
Hoffman went 2 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored, and Rhein added two hits. RWC was paced by Zach Nakanishi, who went 2 for 3 with a double, two RBIs and a run, while Matthew Meredith added two hits with a double and an RBI.
RWC twice caught San Carlos on the scoreboard. Trailing 2-0 after two, RWC scored single runs in the third and fourth. After San Carlos jumped ahead 4-2 in the bottom of the fourth, RWC tied it up in the sixth on a two-run double by Nakanishi to score Maxwell Fairbairn and Rylan Page.
San Carlos advances through the elimination bracket to face Alpine, Friday, at 5:30 p.m.
Redwood City posted a 1-2 record in the tournament. Their roster includes Nakanishi, Fairbairn, Meredith, Page, Erik Burkett, Eli Totah, Ben Dalrymple, Charlie Trester, Egan Ormsby, Matty Bremman, Lorenzo Sanchez and Matthew Larson.

Pacifica 7, Half Moon Bay 1
Chase Tevis surrendered one unearned run over five innings of two-hit ball to lead Pacifica to a win over Half Moon Bay in the elimination bracket at Ford Field. Tevis walked two and struck out seven, before Keoni Lee worked a scoreless sixth to close it out.
Tevis and HMB starting pitcher Will Butterfoss traded zeroes through the first two innings, but Pacifica broke a scoreless tie in the third. Preston Diao doubled home Devin Nieve with the game’s first run, and Diao scored on an RBI groundout by Evan Lim.
Pacifica broke it open in the fourth. MJ Spears singled home RJ Villazon and Hunter Potencion to make it 4-0, Jack Delgadillo doubled home Tevis, and Spears scored on an RBI groundout by Nieve to cap a four-run inning. Pacifica scored one more in the fifth when Jace Harrington scored on a single by Miles Tucker. HMB manufactured its only run via a two-out rally in the sixth, with Liam Keates scoring on an infield error on a ground ball off the bat of Jameson Stoloski.
Pacifica advances through the elimination bracket to play Friday at 3 p.m.
Half Moon Bay went 1-2 in the tournament. Their roster includes Stoloski, Keates, Butterfoss, Aidan McGee, Aksel Brown, Bobby Power, Bryce Geiser, Bryce Thompson, Eivin Asinof, Gavin Murtha, Gavin Seva, Jack Green, Nolan Holland, Peter Hophan and Ryder Adam.
