As the World Cup has gotten underway, it’s been refreshing to see American hospitality on display. Visitors from all over the world are seeing what makes us special. The people, the food, the culture. Do yourself a favor and watch the countless videos of foreigners being blown away by things we take for granted like Chik-Fil-A and wide open spaces. It’s not just the USA either, as Mexico and South Korea have bonded like long lost relatives.
I love to see people experiencing our lives for just a bit, and have been honored to see we’ve taken our role of hosts seriously. Finally, much respect to Japan and their fans for continuing their tradition of leaving their stadiums and locker rooms in better shape than when they arrived. I can’t wait for them to see how we celebrate Fourth of July and America’s 250th birthday.
