What a great idea of the City/County Association of Governments to make people pay for the privilege of getting to their jobs in toll lanes. Lower income folks that can’t afford to live locally will be paying recently increased tolls on the bridge, and when they get to San Mateo County, they can pay a toll on top of that. Or they can stay in the regular commute lanes for the unwashed masses while the BMWs whizz by in the toll lanes.
Heck, you know what tech jobs pay — they can afford it. If you are a janitor, or, considering their pay, a teacher, then you are out of luck. And speaking of teachers, you should have taken a job based more on salary than the idealism in the crucial job of educating the next generation. You wouldn’t have to whine about your meager salary further reduced by toll lanes while teaching the kids of techies smart enough to get into tech instead teaching.
