Editor,

The other day when we had the power outage due to the rain, I was able to light my fireplace, cook breakfast and take a shower. This all because of clean, reliable, safe, economic natural gas. Wow, what a great utility to get rid of!

Mr. Antoniazzi – I’m sorry, but your common sense has no place in the Bay Area. If you’re thinking of running for office, your chances are very slim unless you get with the all-electric program. A hint… never mention the number of fossil-fuel burning generating stations needed to power this all-electric thing.

Natural gas is the only emergency backup during a black out. If someone want to flagellate themselves during a black out that's their choice but don't try to control the rest of us.
