Regarding Jon Mays’ column, “Resolutions for your new year” in which he says to “drive 80 mph” (when the legal speed limit/maximum is 65 mph). What are you thinking? Encouraging your readers to break the law, endanger themselves and other drivers. Totally irresponsible of you.
Do you routinely drive 80 mph in 65 mph zones? Do you stop for red lights? Do you have children who are watching your driving habits? Do you have any concept of the safety issues for yourself and all other drivers sharing the roads with you? I hope many of your readers, employees and friends take you “to task” on this. It is very selfish and irrational of you to publish such “advice” as “editor-in-chief” of the Daily Journal!
Shame on you.
