Matt Nagel's cohorts at Global Exchange represent a radical Marxist/Socialist view of the world. One wonders about young Nagel's view on all this. Read the Global Exchange Web site; see the directors behind all this. Marxists and socialists. Somehow this tidbit of information failed to make the connection in this article.
Matt Nagel is all of 22.
The same age of many of our brave troops serving our country in Iraq. Yet it is Matt Nagel we are profiling here. A naive carrying the banner of a well-known, decidedly socialist, bunch.
While young Nagel is enjoying the sites and leisure of his elitist ride, I cannot forget the sacrifice and bravery of those same 22 year olds serving in our armed forces. Why Nagel?
What about those brave Bay Area youths serving in Iraq trying to bring order to a part of the world riddled with problems?
These same youths did not create this war but rather made a decision to serve their country and place themselves at risk. A far superior sacrifice over a safe ride across the country with a few fellow travelers in tow.
