In case you're wondering about that odd rustling noise you've been hearing for the past week or so, chances are it's the sound of palms being rubbed together by developers in greedy anticipation of the enormous windfalls they will enjoy as a result of the Supreme Court's decision to allow eminent domain seizure of private property.
As we prepare for the day that was set aside to commemorate this country's democracy and its break from tyranny of George III, I would like to urge every man, woman and child to protest this unconscionable act perpetrated under the regime of another tyrannous George. Write letters to your Congressional representative, fly your flag upside down (the international sign of distress) and, in case you don't know the definition of the word "plutocracy," look it up in your dictionary.
