Editor,

As Steven Howard has discussed in his recent letter, he is concerned that we don’t “go low” much as the Texas legislature has done. He feels that keeping the nonpartisan redistricting process we and other more forward-looking states have adopted, are most in keeping with the spirit of our democratic seeking culture. All true enough.

Hey Mr. Caggiano, methinks you’re a bit late to the party…the bat signal to irrationally rationalize redistricting came out a week ago. I see you’re trying to take a different, yet still unhinged and illogical, approach to justify wannabe dictator Newsom’s actions. Now that Newsom is attempting to override the will of the people, we can only hope other states do the same. I believe Missouri may be redistricting. Meanwhile, let’s give credit to the Trump administration in attempting to prevent voter fraud by kicking off ineligible voters from voter rolls. BTW, how about Israel planning on taking over Gaza and relocating residents to South Sudan?

Thanks for spicing things up with a Mussolini reference instead of the tired overused HItler comparisons. Chat GPT could give you a list of fascist dictators through history for your next letter.
