SHP Pulse Dance Team

Sacred Heart Prep’s halftime show Saturday, Sept. 20 during the game between the Gators and the King’s Academy made history for the small Atherton campus, as the SHP Pulse Dance Team suited up as cheerleaders to perform. SHP doesn’t have a cheerleading team, but the dance troupe, led by senior captains Delaney Jones, Leigh Moeschler, Reese Taylor, and Emily Xia, and junior lieutenants Callie Bottoms and Isabelle Ni, under the direction of dance program director Matthew Montenegro, performed choreographed dance to Rihanna’s 2007 hit ‘Breakin’ Dishes.’
