Editor,

If you examine the judicial nominees Bush is insisting be approved, you can draw your own conclusions as to their fitness. For me, they are far to the right of the political spectrum. My question is, why not nominate qualified people who are more to the middle of the road? Surely, much of this divisive wrangling would be done away with if he would propose judges who are acceptable to the majority of Americans ... not only to the far-right religious faction. Don't the rest of us deserve consideration in these very important matters? Why must the majority be left out in all these questions? The same holds true for Bolton's nomination. Bush is supposed to be the president of all of us ... not only for those who want to dominate politics for years and years to come.
