Editor,

Scott Abramson, in the Daily Journal’s letters of Sept. 26, takes issue with my statement that immigration had increased under Trump. My statement was true but he makes a valid point that it was out of context. Immigration has little to do with any sitting U.S. president and has gone up and down for the past century and is complex, having mostly to do with conditions in origin countries and opportunities available in the United States. There was, in fact, a gigantic spike in 2000 … so where is the blame for George W. Bush from those who support Republican viewpoints? And why has Mr. Abramson failed to criticize Trump for calling the speaker of the House and killing the bipartisan immigration bill that both parties proposed to begin dealing with it?

Here we go again… Thanks for your letter, Mr. Kistler, but unfortunately for you and Harris, immigration is only one of the major issues Harris has failed at. Harris has also failed at inflation, failed at child trafficking, failed at drug smuggling, failed at making coherent statements, and so on. BTW, why continue to bellyache about a “bipartisan immigration bill” when Harris can easily wake Biden up during his 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6pm nap and work on an executive order to address her absolute disaster as border czar. Harris doesn’t need a bipartisan bill. I know you know that but that fact is inconvenient to your narrative. In fact, it torpedoes your entire LTE.

Not only did immigration reach all time highs under Biden, the number of rapist, murders and terrorist allowed to enter reached all time highs.

I play a city builder video game called Tropico where you get to be a dictator - and one of the options you have is to empty your prisons and insane asylums and ship them over to an Allied country in exchange for money - so long as you dont use that money to build defenses in your own country. I actually think thats what happened at the US Border over the last 4 years with the democrats. Joe Biden has been the worst president in the history of the USA and its not even close.
