Editor,

I feel sorry for people like letter writer Brian Wright (letters to the editor Nov. 19 and Dec. 9). Bash Trump all you want, Mr. Wright. The ultimate fact is, Trump won by a 50% to 48%, or 77 million to 74 million popular vote. Close? Of course, Mr. Wright, but he still won the majority of the popular vote, as well as a 312 to 226 electoral victory.

Thanks for your letter, Mr. Wackerman, recommending Mr. Wright take the high road. But if Mr. Wright hasn’t taken the high road for as long as I can remember, continuing to bash Trump while willfully ignoring treasonous Biden, I doubt Mr. Wright will stop whining. At this point, I imagine Mr. Wright’s LTEs are more an ego trip about him listening to himself “talk” more than changing any minds.

Apparently, Mr. Wright gets a kick out of beating dead horses. Let it be.

Dirk, Brian thinks he's smarter than everyone and can't figure out why his horse can't get up

Bravo Robbie Bravo. How many dogs are you walking these days?

I'm well aware that Trump won the popular vote and handily won the electoral vote. That's what's so appalling. That so many voters are clueless regarding the threat Trump poses to our society and our democracy. Read my letter again. All the way to the end.

Good morning, Brian

I reread your "Determined resistance" LTE... all the way to the end. It might be easier to sell your version of determined resistance if you did not label the voters who disagree with your politics as misinformed, ignorant, naive, gullible, deluded, paranoid, and xenophobic.

Your candidate was a little too cozy with the radical left wing of your party. True, those radicals may not represent your personal views, but they are leading the determined resistance movement. They are currently glorifying a coward arrested for shooting and killing a health care industry CEO in protest of that industry's business practices. Is that your brand of determined resistance? Those same radicals are vilifying a hero acquitted of any crime for acting in self-defense to save others. Is that your brand of determined resistance? Those radicals and their ideology pose a much greater threat to our society and democracy.

Let's not forget... those radicals believe we can be "unburdened by what has been" and that "one person’s socialism is another person’s neighborliness."

Why should Mr. Wright stop whining? Many Republicans are still talking about a stolen 2020 election… Hypocrisy pervades the entire political spectrum; criminals on both sides of the aisle are pardoned while complete incompetents are nominated for high office. The American people are getting the government that they elected. The “swamp” may be drained but the crocodiles will merely be replaced by alligators. What’s the difference? Alligators have broader, shorter heads - kind of like Neanderthals 😁…

Not So Common

Actually David, the 2020 election was stolen and there are plenty of facts which prove it. Republicans didn't whine and cry and have a scream and cry fest, they got out and voted early and ensured there were thousands of eyes watching the democrats shenanigans which prevented the same thing from occurring. However, the democrats did not move on, Biden and his Soros minions imprisoned, sued and attacked those who spoke up. We won, and will continue to win and you can go right ahead and continue to attend your scream and cry festivals with Brian, Jorg, Rel and the Jorgidians cult members.

Rel

So, NSC, all who oppose your point of view are cult members? If so, might I remind you CA has more registered voters in the Democratic Party, and independents, each, than Republicans? The 2020 election was not stolen and was pronounced the most free and fair election to date in our history. If you have plenty of facts for the opposite view, than kindly provide your sources. This time around, the Republicans won. The Democrats ceded that fact immediately, and Biden provided Trump and his minions access to the WH for a peaceful transfer, something Trump did not have the class to do when he lost.

Not So Common

The cult members are on the SMDJ who walk lock and goose step with Joeg’s nonsense. Maybe all CA democrats belong to The Jorgidian cult as well?, but I can’t verify it. To start, try watching 2000 mules and do your bestess to go in with an open mind and some kettle corn.

Two for one…

So DavidKristofferson, you admit Mr. Wright is whining. On that we can both agree. We can also agree that both Biden and Harris are complete incompetents nominated for high office. Have you booked tickets to attend the Trump inauguration?

Rel, you’re hilarious. The biggest issue is that even if facts were provided, you would still choose to ignore them. For instance, we’ve already blown up your so-called “insurrection.” You conveniently ignore the fact of Trump’s tweets on Jan. 6 telling folks to remain peaceful and stay peaceful. And you continue to ignore the fact that Pelosi was responsible, through her dereliction of duty, for not protecting the Capitol. I assume that whatever you post are fake news and lies. Perhaps you should begin providing verifiable facts for your POV. Have you booked tickets to see the Trump inauguration?
