I strongly endorse Brian Donnellan for judge. I recently retired after working for over 25 years as a police officer in San Mateo County. I’ve worked with Brian as a prosecutor on cases for my entire career. He is a strong advocate for victims in San Mateo County. He always worked tirelessly to ensure the people of this county were protected and that criminals were held accountable for their actions. Brian was a prosecutor who would meet victims in their homes, workplaces or anywhere that was convenient for them, even after the workday was done. He truly wanted was best for people, the investigations and the outcomes of the cases he worked.
As a resident of San Mateo County, Brian knows what a special place this is and I believe that having him as a judge in our county would be in the best interests of all San Mateo County residents.
The law can be found in books, written in black and white for all to see. Justice, however, can be sometimes illusive and vague. Brian Donnellan knows the difference between lifetime criminals who repeatedly victimize the people of San Mateo County, and people who make mistakes and don’t need to see the inside of our jail.
I trust Brian to be impartial and fair, as he has always been, and I look forward to seeing him as a judge in one of the safest counties in the Bay Area.
