Editor,

President Trump has created chaos and uncertainly, with his tariffs and frequent reversal of policies.

Great points Mr. Licht. The MAGAs supporting this vile, cruel, and ignorant felon have the same characteristics as he does. They are so afraid of losing their white privilege that they will follow him over a cliff just to taunt liberals. Over five million marched at No Kings rallies with no violence, while their petty fearless leader fell asleep at his own pathetic, puny birthday parade. The same people bleating about DOGE cuts to "waste" are happy to have us taxpayers foot a $45 million bill for a man-child's birthday party while they deport harmless immigrants and strip children of their 12 cents per day lifesaving medication so they die. We have sunk below McCarthy levels. Resistance is the only way back.

Folks, this is what winning looks like, and I, for one, am not tired of winning. Another contributor, Mr. van Ulden, noted the other day in response to SMpool, “Ah, the leftists are running out of ammunition. We are back to the Russians again.” We now have SMpool still running out of ammunition and now pulling the anti-white racism card. What’s the next failed narrative? Impeach?

Hey SMpool, speaking of white privilege, it’s reported that Newsom was sipping wine while LA burned (https://www.city-journal.org/article/los-angeles-riots-california-governor-gavin-newsom-wine). To be fair, maybe it’s not white privilege, maybe its continued disdain for the residents of California in providing aid and comfort to protesters rather than California citizens. Similar to Karen Bass. Have a Trump-tastic day!

Hey - we finally have a new one. Trump is now compared with Senator McCarthy. Clearly, Mr. Licht does not have the time or the interest in finding out what led up to the comment made, but as a typical TDS sufferer he does not need to. He is already pardoned.

Hi, Dirk

When I saw the LTE title, "Chaos and uncertainty," I thought the letter would be about left-wing rioting in American cities and the Democratic Party's ability to anything other than crash through security lines in acts of faux martyrdom.

Dirk van Ulden

The heading tells one something about Mike's comments. He was a proponent of the utterly useless and pointless rally. It reminded me of those folks who were urged to scream in unison when Trump won the first time. My Mommy would send me outside to scream when I was in the tantrum mode, so they must have learned it from their respective Mommies. Schumer's crocodile tears over Padilla's stunt made me laugh so hard that my wife had to calm me down.

Rel

Yeah, Ray, Now who is making smear comments? Apparently 1/6 never happened for you. Apparently the fact that millions of people rallied on Saturday with nary a bit of violence anywhere was lost on you. Apparently the fact that nearly all fatalities from guns came from white gun totters was lost on you.

Ray Fowler

Rel... Adieu mon frère.

willallen

That is a lot of "apparently."

Rel

Addendum to Ray comment: Right wing white gun totters.

Addendum to Rel... Adieu mon frère.

Rel, please clarify - what are “Right wing white gun totters”? As written, it sounds like you’re referring to a very, very small (perhaps nonexistent) cohort of people so I doubt “nearly all fatalities from guns” came from them. How many people who own white colored guns are always unsteady on their feet (tottering)? To borrow from FFGig (who we haven’t heard from in a while – I hope he’s okay), “End of discussion. Next.”

Norman asked the correct question. Trump has never shown an ounce of decency in his life. His cultists somehow miss this point.

Terence Y

Thanks for your letter, Mr. Licht, but where were you when Biden and complicit Dems were taking two knees and gifting Afghanistan to the Taliban, leaving US citizens behind enemy lines, and opening the border to allow millions of criminals to invade our country? Where is their sense of decency? As for Mr. Padilla, unless Mr. Padilla continues to pander to complicit media for his publicity stunt, his 15 minutes of fame is over. If Mr. Padilla wants to act like a violent protester, he should be expected to be treated as a violent protester. Where is his sense of decency?

Speaking of 15 minutes of fame being over, how about so-called “No Kings” protests. Are these protests in the news anymore other than highlighting No Kings flyers were found in the car of someone who attempted and succeeded in murdering a few folks? A positive - thanks to these No Kings protests, Trump is directing more deportation efforts to Democrat-led cities. BTW, why so many signs and marches in LA to get rid of their NHL hockey team?

Speaking of NHL hockey, how about Stanley Cup winners, the Florida Panthers? Isn’t Trump a resident of Florida? And the Panthers just beat Canada’s Edmonton Oilers. Did Trump tip the scales in some way, shape, or form? Impeach, Mr. Licht, impeach! Have a Trump-tastic day!

Great letter and great observations Norman. Bravo
