Editor,

In November 2020, millions of voters like me went to the polls and cast a ballot for Joe Biden.

Dear Duncan - if you believe that asking a voter for an ID is considered suppression, I am not surprised that you voted for the most incompetent president ever. His name is Biden.

Tommy Tee

Dirk--you left out: Reducing the number of polling places (only 1 drop off box per county), no early voting, polling place relocations, making it harder to register, restrictive mail-in policies, etc.

Terence Y

Tommy, as long as you can ensure voter ID and chain of custody, you can have as many polling places you want. What else you got?

Rel

Duncan, agreed. This country is long overdue to have a national set of regulations on voting to assure all citizens can exercise their votes and be counted fairly. It is not a coincidence that mostly red states are trying to solve problems that do not exist but suppress votes.

Dirk, you have to a warped set of values to not see Trump as the most incompetent ever. He never won the popular vote, lost the WH, Senate and House. All who worked for him and left called him moronic and mentally ill. He lied over 21K and caused an insurrection on the way out thus placing our democracy in peril. Presidential historians have already placed Trump at the bottom likely never to be challenged for stupidity.

Jorg

Rel: I just wonder, with some few, honorable exceptions, are Republicans faking it, lying, or simply too dumb to understand what’s so embarrassingly obvious to the steadily growing majority of us?

Terence Y

Blah, blah, blah, it was only a matter of time before Trump-haters showed up in a lame attempt to insult our great President Trump. And to again attempt to conflate voter ID with voter suppression. Notice these same folks are unable to list a treasonous Biden accomplishment? Their silence on the matter is deafening, but not surprising.

Jorg

TY: Not that I expect you to understand, but I’m in a good mood and will try anyway:

I fully expect you to come back with your usual nonsense, so feel free to prove me right. Again.

Rel

Once again Terrence, you post a lot of blah with no facts or substance. Trump is only great in your mind but precious few others. As to Biden, The American Rescue Plan, since implemented, has lifted, it is estimated, 90 million children out of poverty. Apparently, this program is not a big enough accomplishment for you. Your silence on this matter is deafening, but not surprising as it is an actual fact.

Terence Y

First up, Jorg. On deck, Rel

Jorg, you already tried this debunked link a few weeks back. Did you bother to educate yourself and read your link? Out of your list of “accomplishments” you consider getting back into the boondoggle Paris Climate Agreement and the corrupt WHO as accomplishments? Those guys will accept anyone they can con into giving them money. Writing four executive orders regarding divisive social justice garbage, three memos which pay lip service, and convening one meeting among a few people to be an accomplishment? Sorry Jorg, those are dubious accomplishments. You may want to look up the definition of “dubious” and then try again, but this time, confirm they’re real accomplishments before responding. BTW, I’d love to prove you right, but you have to be right, else I’ll continue to prove you wrong.

Once again, Rrel, you attempt to promote a failure as an accomplishment, as a reading of the plan proves. However, I do agree this is big enough, big enough to raise our national debt to over $30 trillion with only about 10% of the $2 trillion actual helping to Rescue America. And 90 million children out of poverty? Really? That’s amazing, given that the US doesn’t have 90 million kids (and is not expected to in our lifetimes). I guess if that were true, it really would be an accomplishment. But for now, it’s just a lie. A lie you’ve bought hook, line, and sinker. Now, Rel, that’s an actual fact. Or maybe you’re using Obama math. You know, with Obama having visited 57 US states? Maybe silence is your better option?

Jorg

TY: To be honest with you, I have to admit that you are not the only one with such deep admiration and unlimited reverence for the X-P, Donald Trump. Just look at the crowds he is attracting, all with MEGA hats to show their undivided support and acceptance of anything and everything Trumpish. What impressive crowds, I have to say, such apparently well educated, accomplished pillars of society, including the other day all of his 7 black supporters that happened to have the same “Blacks for Trump” T-shirts, all lined up right behind their idol. And knowing how frugal Trump is, I don’t think he paid them much either. I wouldn’t be surprised that perhaps the majority of these devotees had at least as good grades as Trump himself, although his weren’t good enough to be accepted at USC’s famous film school, despite his wealthy dad. No, Terence, you are not alone. Far from it, you are in good company.

Terence Y

Jorg, are you sure you want to open this can of worms? Okay, your honor, Jorg opened the door… Let’s take a few from your idol Obama-nable:

1. “Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go.”

2. "We're the country that built the Intercontinental Railroad."

3. “If you like your plan, you can keep your plan. Period.”

And now your idol bumbling Biden (who famously said the “n” word more than a dozen times in the Senate):

1. “Now we have over 120 million dead from COVID.”

2. “We hold these truths to be self-evident: all men and women are created, by the, you know the, you know the thing.”

3. “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”

Yessirree, Jorg, I see you are not alone. Far from it, you are in good company. Albeit confused company.

Jorg

TY: A couple of inadvertent gaffes, are all you could come up with, including a misunderstanding on your part I have tried to explain to you before? Sure, that’s much worse than the thousands of blatant lies from Trump, including claiming to be first in class despite lousy grades, and the nonsense that the 2020 election was rigged against him and that he actually won by a landslide. Perhaps that’s what Putin assured him before the election, helping him like he obviously did in 2016?

Terence Y

Jorg - inadvertent gaffes? That’s the best you could come up with? Those were just some of coward-in-chief Biden’s greatest hits. I’ll take your same approach and say you alleged thousands of blatant lies from Trump are also inadvertent gaffes. So there you go. You know what’s not inadvertent? Your inability to list any treasonous Biden accomplishment. Maybe, like Rel, silence is your better option, too.

Here’s a few more for your reading enjoyment: Biden claiming 350 million Americans have been fully fully vaccinated. Unfortunately for Joe, the USA only has about 330 million people. Biden claiming not one person lost insurance under Obamacare. I guess you could make the case not one person lost insurance - it was 4 million people who lost insurance. Biden claiming WWII ended before the 1920’s. Um, not on this Earth. Sure, inadvertent gaffes. LOL
