Editor,

Regarding Ed Kahl’s letter “Newsom’s over budget estimation,” (weekend edition), his idea of saving the state is to bring back the Republican Party. Here’s a novel idea: How about every political party in California that has ballot access has a seat at the table? You know, like a Parliament? Because not everyone in California is a Democrat or Republican.

All voices should be welcome but the reality is we have a two party system. You need each party to come in and clean out the corruption and mis-management of the other party. Democrats have been in way too long and arena leading us into a financial crisis.

Thanks for your letter, Ms. Marcopulos, but don’t we already have a method for folks to get a seat at the table? Get elected?
