For the second time in three elections, Donald Trump defeated an unjustly appointed woman to win back the presidency. Dems screwed over Bernie in 2016 for Hillary and did the same to Biden in 2024 for Kamala. Both resulted in losing the Oval Office. It would seem Americans are tired of the identity politics and fear mongering and just want policies and an administration that will put Americans first.
Hopefully this is a wake-up call to the extreme wings of both parties, more people are closer to center than extreme left or right. Now is the time for us to unite as a country and support America first policies and practices. Much like our personal lives, we can’t take care of anyone else until we take care of ourselves first. Finally, for good measure, Trump also won the popular vote not just the Electoral College. Message heard.
Well summarized, Mr. Guttenbeil. Unfortunately, as we can read during the past few days, and today, California state and local officials (at least the ones who want to scream the loudest) don’t appear to want to unite as a country and support America first policies and practices. It’s time to vote those folks out of office. If not, while other states reap the rewards of America first policies and practices, California residents will miss out on the rewards.
