We put some murderers and some people who commit hideous crimes to death. Now we want to condemn a disabled woman, Terry Schiavo, to death just because she is able to live in spite of her disability. Do we want to play God? At what severity of a disability should a person be condemned to death.
I honestly believe God and nature are doing a good enough job without our interference and decision-making. They may just disagree with our decision and are unable to express that feeling.
I feel a written request by the concerned person should be available before life is ended.
As you can see even the doctors and others who are involved are disputing over what course of action shall be taken. A written request should be the evidence, not some other person's word. From the time of Adam and Eve we have been born with the ability to lie. Some may have alternative motives or reasons to condemn a person to death. Let us leave God's wishes to God.
