Timothy Patrick Gallagher was born September 12, 1967 in Santa Clara, California and died in his home in Pacifica, California November 24, 2024 after a long illness.
Tim grew up in south San Jose and then Los Gatos, graduating from Los Gatos High School and majoring in English at San José State. He lived most of his adult life in San Mateo County, and he enjoyed the peaceful view of the Pacific Ocean from his apartment.
He is survived by his mother Joan Hauck Gallagher, his brothers John Vincent Gallagher and Michael Arthur Gallagher, his brother-in-law Jason Bong Chan, and his nephew Jack Richard Gallagher. He was predeceased by his father John “Jack” Vincent Gallagher and his brother Mark Thomas Gallagher.
Tim was a compassionate, quiet, and caring man with a wry sense of humor. He enjoyed listening to his collection of vinyl records, watching television, and walking in the forest and along the coastline.
Family and close friends are invited to a funeral mass for Tim on December 18, 10:00 a.m., at St. Lucy Catholic Church in Campbell. Burial will follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
