He was a graduate of Portland State University in 1960. While in college, he signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates professional baseball team, but due to an injury, his career did not go beyond the minor teams. Tom was a salesman for most of his career working for Bacardi, several freight lines, Valley Realty, Fox & Carskadon and Royal Viking cruise lines. Tom was a successful model and occasional actor and was a member of the Screen Actors Guild. Tom loved baseball and was a big supporter of the Oakland A’s. He is survived by his brother, Dick Richardson of Studio City, California. He departed too soon and now joins his wife, Ellen, his father, mother and brothers in Heaven. He will be missed.
