Born in Berkeley, CA, to Henry and Laila Ipsen, Ron was raised in Redwood City and graduated from Sequoia High School in the Class of 1956. After graduation, he proudly served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Delphine, with whom he shared 55 years, daughters Frances Claude (John) and Vanessa, son Eric, granddaughter Madison, grandsons Brandon and Robert, nephews Carl and Jeffrey Sausedo, nephew Blake Zaccanti (Dominique), many cousins, and his cherished cat, Ninja. He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Janice Sausedo.
In accordance with Ron’s wishes, no services were held. He is deeply missed and forever loved by his family.
