Robert Brewster Gulliksen

On August 3, 2018 Robert Brewster Gulliksen passed away at Kentfield Accute Center in San Francisco. It was a long and painful battle with many complications from a rare syndrome called Guillain Barre Syndrome also known as GBS.

Robert was born in San Mateo and lived most of his life there except for 14 memorable years in Half Moon Bay California. He attended local schools such as Park  Elementary, Borel Middle School, San Mateo High School, College of San Mateo, and graduated from San Francisco State. He married Joanne Hower Gulliksen whom he met in the seventh grade. This past May they were married 58 years. They had two children Eric William Gulliksen who is deceased and Lori Jean Williamson. He is survived by three adored grandchildren Danielle, Zackary and Megan ????, and devoted son in law, Brian Williamson, sister Sandra Ireland who preceded him in death March 21, 2018. He also leaves a niece Tracey Ireland and family, a nephew Michael Ireland and partner Narda Garcia, brother in law Tom Ireland and wife Vicki, niece Kim Zuehkle, husband Mike, son Jonathan, sister-in-law Barbara Williams deceased and husband Duke Williams. He also leaves a sister in law Nancy Piazza and family who reside in Washington. He had many friends and close business friends.
