Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Hensel, of Emerald Hills, born May 15, 1938, died March 26, 2017, in Redwood City, California.
Mary was a lifelong resident of San Mateo County. She grew up in San Carlos and was one of the first graduating classes at San Carlos High School. She was a member of the San Carlos American Legion Auxiliary and Booster Club.
Mary is survived by her husband James E. Hensel; her daughter Kari Hensel; and her brother Frederick Y. Phillips. There will be no services. Condolences may be offered to the family through crippenflynn.com.
