Louisa Maxine Maltby Campton, born March 16, 1916 in Boulder, Colo. to the late Ethel Overbaugh and Glenn Maltby, passed away at her home in Pacifica on June 12, 2005 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her sister, Maurine Cuda and her husband, Tony, of Alhambra, Calif.; her daughter, Elaine Campton Gherardi of Petaluma, Calif.; her daughter, Valerie Maurine Swanson of Rohnert Park, Calif.; her grandson, David Michael Gherardi of Pacifica, Calif.; her grandson, Gregory William Gherardi of Petaluma, Calif.; her cousin, Jon Stephen Overbaugh and his wife, Cindy, of Sonora, Calif. and many nieces and nephews whom she adored.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life at a funeral mass on Friday, June 17th at noon at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 700 Oddstad Blvd. in Pacifica and will be concluding there. Inurnment will be at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo. Visitations will be on Thursday after 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Chapel of the Highlands, 194 Millwood Drive in Millbrae, with a vigil service beginning at 7 p.m.
