Ata’ata was a resident of Stockton, Ca. but a native of VaVau Tonga from the Makave group.
Ata’ata was 1of 10 famous carvers by trade and a devout Catholic. He was preceded by his parents, Setefano Paengalau Pome’e and Anna Latu Pome’e.
