The rights of LGBTQ+ students will be protected by federal law and victims of campus sexual assault will gain new safeguards under rules finalized Friday by the Biden administration.

The new provisions are part of a revised Title IX regulation issued by the Education Department, fulfilling a campaign pledge by President Joe Biden. He had promised to dismantle rules created by former Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, who added new protections for students accused of sexual misconduct.

My granddaughter reports that she, as a 14 year old, is now competing with a self-identified female with clear male appendages on the track field. Mind you, she is attending a Roman Catholic school and their sports activities, that apparently have no restrictions on gender identity, are sanctioned by the SF Archdiocese. So, RC parents, if you believe your daughters are safe from this woke and twisted policy as RC schools are supposedly immune from this lunacy, think again.

Not So Common

Men or boys dressed as women or girls are not females. This is common sense to those who support women's rights. Over the last couple of years, the democrats decided to throw women under the bus in favor of supporting transgenders over women's rights. Countless women have been violently injured while having to compete against men or physically superior boys. The left obviously feel supporting and promoting transgenders is the new wedge issue that will keep them in power. It won't and President Trump will put an end to this issue and hopefully the Supreme Court will take up the full issue and agree. Unless Ketnaj Brown-Jackson still can't define a woman.

Unfortunately by adding protections for "gender identity" instead of sex, which title IX was originally based on, the door is open for men who "identify" as women to participate in women's sports and enter their locker rooms. Sad day for women's equality and opportunities in America. It will be challenged in the courts of course, and it does look good for this overreach typical of the Biden administration to be overturned.
