A South San Francisco man was arrested May 11 for a hit-and-run collision on the 300 block of Forestview Drive the night prior in which a pedestrian was hit by a Dodge Charger bring driven recklessly, according to police.
At about 11:45 p.m., officers responded to the location and found the pedestrian with major injuries that required trauma center treatment. The suspect, identified as Abraham Jesus Acevedo, 19, allegedly fled the scene and San Bruno and Menlo Park police had two separate pursuits on Highway 101, which were canceled for safety reasons, according to police.
