In the wake of President Joe Biden’s Sunday decision to drop out of his reelection race, San Mateo County democrats are joining majority party sentiment in supporting his vice president, Kamala Harris, in an eleventh-hour candidacy.

Many San Mateo County leaders had continued to support Biden even as he faced calls to step down over his age and mental acuity. They’re now following what appears to be a rapid consolidation of Democratic support for Harris as the party has pledged to pick a candidate via online vote by Aug. 7, before the Democratic National Convention.

Not So Common

Maybe Joe Cotchett will come to his senses a second time and throw Kamala back into the swamp with Joe? It's mind boggling how the sheople have no interest in making America Great again, and would rather go down with a message of hate and victimization. The supporters of true democracy will do it with or without the hardcore democrats like Cotchett, Jorg, Rel, Taffy, Mike etc...

Well written, Not So Common. At this point, if the Dem mafia told Cotchett or any so-called SMC leaders and rabid Dems to support former Secret Service Director Cheatle (she’s unemployed as of today), they would have another change of heart and attempt to rationalize their decision. Notice the stated goal of these Dems is to beat our great President Trump instead of making America better? Apparently, these Dems think America is the best it can be right now. Which is why Biden was failing, bigly, and which is why anyone on the Democrat side will fail, bigly. America Last is America Last, no matter which Democrat so-called leader is running, assuming they can make it on state ballots.

I challenge all the newly minted Harris supporters to list her top 3 accomplishments in any of the offices she has held. Not allowed to mention her sex or race.
