A 31-year-old San Bruno resident has been charged with four felonies for allegedly trying to pepper spray and attempting to drive her minivan into security guards at buildings on Bovet Road in San Mateo, San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said.
The woman, Lilliana Tafollaromero, had allegedly been sleeping in her car by the buildings for several nights when she was confronted by security guards and attempted to pepper spray them 3 a.m. Aug. 6, according to the DA’s Office.
She then allegedly drove her minivan in circles around the parking lot for 11 minutes, refusing to yield to police officers and twice driving the car directly at the security guards, Wagstaffe said.
She also allegedly rammed a police car. Tafollaromero — who was also charged with two vandalism misdemeanors — then drove away until she allegedly struck a security guard vehicle and was subsequently arrested, the DA’s Office said.
A Superior Court review conference will be Sept. 17.
