The Burlingame Neighborhood Network is hosting a program Saturday, March 9, for residents to learn from local safety experts how to receive emergency alerts, connect with family and friends, tap into a volunteer Ham radio network, decide what to include in your “go bag” and evacuate safely following disaster.

Called “Ready, Set, Go! What’s in Your Go Bag? When and Where to Go,” the program will take place from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Lane Room at the Burlingame Public Library, 480 Primrose Road. Admission is free and complimentary coffee and refreshments will be served.
