Chris Sturken has announced his reelection campaign to serve another term on the City Council, representing District 2.

As a nonprofit professional, Sturken has fundraised for and connected families to affordable housing. He ran for City Council to leverage his experience to address housing and homelessness through local government, in which he called on the City Council to provide relocation assistance for displaced tenants and to secure deeply affordable homes for the community’s most vulnerable residents. As a lifelong transit rider and the son of three generations of railroaders, Sturken brought his transportation expertise to the City Council to improve road safety and reduce traffic congestion.
