NAMI San Mateo County announced the appointment of Nidhi Dash as Events and Fundraising data coordinator. Dash will lead the planning and execution of the organization’s community fundraising events, most notably NAMIWalks San Mateo County, set for Saturday, Oct. 3, at Coyote Point Park in San Mateo, while also supporting data-driven donor strategy to strengthen NAMI SMC’s long-term development.
“Nidhi brings exactly the combination of strategic vision and hands-on fundraising expertise that NAMI San Mateo County needs. Her deep experience leading community fundraising initiatives and her passion for mission-driven work make her the ideal person to lead NAMIWalks and build the donor infrastructure that will sustain our programs for years to come,” Laura Parmer-Lohan, CEO, NAMI San Mateo County, said in a press release.
Dash served as Parent Campaign chair and Communications co-chair for the Hillsborough Schools Foundation, where she drove community engagement through strategic communications and donor initiatives. She also served as president of the PARCA Auxiliary, an organization with 37 years of dedicated fundraising on behalf of individuals with developmental disabilities, where she led board strategy, community partnerships and donor engagement efforts.
