Mental Health Awareness Month 5K Run/Walk at Ryder Park in San Mateo

On Saturday, May 18, the San Mateo Police Athletic League, along with StarVista and Stride for Awareness, sponsored a 5K Run/Walk to promote May as Mental Health Awareness Month. The Run was held at Ryder Park in San Mateo, and included an awards ceremony and a Wellness Fair. A portable photo booth, carried by StarVista’s Pat Dalao (far left) and Audrey Bockholt (far right), neatly frames runners (left to right) Michael Maylan, Mark the Dog and Laurel Blaemire.
