An undercover operation led to the arrest of a San Francisco man for having inappropriate contact with a 15-year-old girl, according to San Bruno police.
Lawrence So, 34, was arrested Thursday, April 20, just before 2 p.m. after a lengthy police investigation. Police were notified So was believed to be engaging in inappropriate online communications with the juvenile. As part of the investigation, San Bruno police pretended to be the juvenile and continued communicating with So via electronic media. Eventually, enough evidence was gathered to issue an arrest warrant, according to police.
So was booked into county jail on charges related to annoying or molesting a minor. Anyone with information is asked to contact San Bruno police at (650) 616-7100 or can email anonymous tips to sbpdtipline@sanbruno.ca.gov.
