City government
· Millbrae Mayor Marc Hershman will discuss the annual state of the city June 9 in the Community Room of the Millbrae Library at 1 Library Ave. A complimentary continental breakfast will be served at 7:45 a.m., and the program begins at 8:15 a.m. The event is free, and more information is available by calling 697-7324.
Education
· The San Bruno Park School District will meet Wednesday June 8, and consider approval its 2005-2006 budget. It will also weigh whether to sell Carl Sandburg school site, which has been closed for more than 20 years. The board will meet at 7 p.m. at 2322 Crestmoor Drive in San Bruno.
· The Redwood City Elementary School District is likely to approve next school year's budget at 7 p.m., June 8 at 750 Bradford St. in Redwood City.
